Privacy Policy

Short version: your code never leaves your Mac. The Wing Vibe app reacts to tiny local event files your agent writes, never your code or keystrokes, and runs offline once activated. The app does reach our server to activate your license, and the website handles a short, specific list of data when you join the waitlist, claim a founder key, buy, activate, share a Wrapped recap, or send feedback. What stays on your Mac

Wing Vibe has no account and no sign-in, and there is no analytics or tracking built into the app. Your projects, your code, your keystrokes, your terminal, and everything your pal reacts to stay on your Mac. The app reads small event files your agent writes locally; none of your code or activity is ever sent to us. The one time the app talks to our server is to activate your license (below), and it keeps working offline after that.

Optional integrations

Wing Vibe has two optional features you can switch on. Both run entirely on your Mac, and neither one sends anything to our servers.

  • Spotify. We read what your local Spotify app is playing so your pal can vibe along to the beat. That happens on your Mac only, and we never receive it.
  • Discord.We broadcast your activity (how many agents are running, and the current track) to your own Discord app so it can show a “Playing Wing Vibe” status. We never read your Discord account or activity, and nothing goes to our servers.

What the website collects

The website is the only place we handle any of your data, and we keep that list short.

  • Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist, we store your email address so we can tell you when Wing Vibe is ready.
  • Founders’ Launch. If you claim a free founder key, we store your email and the key we mint for you, plus the times you claimed it and first activated it. That is how founders are tracked and kept grandfathered when paid sales begin.
  • Order details. When you buy, Lemon Squeezy (our payment provider and merchant of record) processes your name, email, and payment, and we store the resulting order record (email, name, amount).
  • License activation.When you activate, we store a device identifier (a stable id for your Mac), your device name, the app version, and your macOS version, bound to your license key. This keeps your license tied to your Mac and enforces the one-Mac-per-license limit. Paid keys are also validated against Lemon Squeezy’s license service.
  • Wrapped recaps.If you create a shared “Wrapped” recap from the app, we store your pal’s name, look, and summary stats, and publish them at a public link you can share. No code, no contacts.
  • Optional feedback. If you send feedback, we store the message, an optional email, and your app and OS version, so we can read it and improve Wing Vibe.

What we do not do

We do not track your IP address for marketing, and we do not track your location. When you submit a form, a short-lived hashed version of your IP is used only to prevent abuse and rate-limit requests. That hash is never stored. We do not sell your data, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Where your data lives

The data above lives with two providers. Our database is hosted on Supabase, and payments, order records, and paid license keys are handled by Lemon Squeezy (whose license service we also call to validate paid keys). Both are established providers with their own security and privacy practices.

Access and deletion

You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Email plaetorius@gmail.com and we will take care of it.
